Transportation

Travel from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW)

 

Uber and Lyft are readily available. 

 

Taxis are available curbside at the Airport, and typically cost $50 – $60 each way.  If you wish to arrange a car to pick you up, the following services are available:

Michigan Flyer-AirRide: Michigan Flyer offers convenient motorcoach transportation between Ann Arbor and Detroit Metropolitan Airport. They run 8-12 round trips per day, and the cost to ride is only $12 each way with reservation.

 

 

 

Rail Travel

 

Ann Arbor’s Amtrak station is located at 325 Depot Street, under a mile from the University of Michigan campus. For train times and ticket information visit the Amtrak website.

 

 

 

Parking

 

Public Parking Structures

Public parking is available at the City of Ann Arbor’s parking structures (no permit is required). The below options are closest to Michigan Ross. Parking validation will be provided for event attendees who park in the following lots:

 

• Forest Structure: 650 South Forest Avenue

• Maynard Structure: 324 Maynard Street

• Public Parking Structures Map

 

Metered Parking: Metered parking is available on the east (East University Avenue) and 

west sides (Tappan Street) of Ross. Street parking may be available in the student neighborhood south of the building.
