Praveen Mahendran
Praveen is a 3rd year dual-degree student at the University of Michigan Erb Institute, splitting his time between the Ross School of Business and School for Environment And Sustainability (SEAS). Prior to graduate school he gained a B.S. in Natural Resources and spent eight years in sales and marketing analytics and consulting roles. He is now aiming to pivot into climate technology venture capital investing with a focus on agriculture, but also wants to remain engaged with the policy aspects of the environmental movement.
Isaac von Hallberg
Isaac von Hallberg was raised on the University of Chicago campus, attended New York University, and now lives in Los Angeles. He spent nine years working in various marketing roles in the e-commerce retail sector. After earning B Corp. Certification for his last employer, he sought to gain stronger business acumen and decision-making through an MBA. Now he studies finance and strategy at USC Marshall School of Business, and looks forward to applying his creative mindset to drive decision-making.
Mckenna Beard
Mckenna is a second-year MBA candidate at UT’s McCombs School of Business, focused on developing a career in decarbonization & sustainability strategy. She has a mechanical engineering degree and seven years of experience across multiple industries in manufacturing & operational excellence. At McCombs, Mckenna co-leads the CleanTech Fellowship program which matches MBAs with partner companies to solve meaningful climate-based issues.
Steven Daley
Steven is a third-year Part-Time MBA candidate at UVA’s Darden School of Business, focused on a career in sustainable finance. He has over five years of diverse experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry and is a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential holder. At Darden, Steven is president of the Black Professional MBA Association which fosters connections amongst Darden’s African-American and African Diaspora communities.
Mona Kaur
Mona Kaur is an MBA candidate specializing in Sustainability at Bard College, with a Bachelor's degree and background in finance. She is passionate about helping corporations and financial institutions transition into the green space by incorporating sustainable practices. Mona is driven by her mission to create positive environmental change and contribute to a more sustainable future for both businesses and the planet.
Stephanie Walker
Stephanie is a third-year MBA in Sustainability candidate at Bard College focusing on the transition to a Circular Economy. Coming from an arts background, her work experience has been in operations and finance for arts nonprofits and an architecture firm. Bard's program is a way to gain business skills while also exploring sustainability which is a growing area of focus for all businesses
Kelly Pierson
Kelly Pierson, a Colorado-based sustainability strategist and first-year MBA candidate at Bard College, brings 13 years of experience from retail, nonprofit, and consulting sectors. As a strategy and impact consultant, she guides clients in affordable housing, energy, and workforce development to achieve social and environmental goals. Kelly's mission is to foster collaboration and develop sustainable initiatives that promote shared well-being on a healthy planet.

The Alliance for Responsible Capitalism is a nonprofit with a mission of aligning corporate political influence with sound climate policy. We work by incorporating a focus on climate policy – and the roles companies can play in shaping it – into business education.
